Winter Carnival West

March 5-6, 2011

Winter Carnival West is an annual all-DOCNC event, now nine years running. Highlights included a wild costume party on the slopes of Sugar Bowl, a "pink-time" happy hour on the frozen beach of Lake Mary, and a bounteous cabin banquet. Hope you join us next year for our 10th WCW!

Spring Work Weekend

July 16-17, 2011

Join us for the most fun you can have stacking logs in the High Sierra! Email SDJules [AT] gmail if you want to join in - we will provide free food and lodging for friends and members. This is a great time to meet your fellow DOCNC members and learn about the cabin. Remember that gettting "signed out" on the cabin's use has become mandatory with the 2010-2011 season so please come for fun and education. Fabulous pictures from last summer's work weekend.

Young Alumni Weekend

Aug 26-28, 2011

In conjunction with the Dartmouth Alumni of Silicon Valley and the Dartmouth Alumni of San Francisco, the DOCNC will host the second annual Young Alum Mountain Festival on August 26-28. Young alums from across the Bay Area clubs convene at Lake Mary for a weekend of revelry in tribute to the late Dartmouth tradition, Tubestock. With hiking, biking, and a Dartmouth-style feed Saturday night - you won't be disappointed. RSVP REQUIRED: To aid in the planning of this event, please RSVP by August 5th to James von Rittmann '95 at president [AT] daasv.org. Please include the first and last name, and Dartmouth class (if applicable), of each attendee. RSVPs received after August 5th are welcome, but must pay a $10 Administration Fee.
