YOUNG ALUMNI OF DARTMOUTH
IN TUCSON

An Association of Alumni of  DARTMOUTH COLLEGE

January 30, 1999

The Young Alums in the Old Pueblo (Tucson) are just beginning to get some organized events scheduled, such as:

WINE TASTING

We have scheduled our first annual Young Alumni Cheap Wine Tasting Affair. No Mad Dog, but no wine will be over $13. There will be a tasting of 8 domestic and imported wines (4 red, 4 white). Accompanying each selection will be appropriately chosen and complimentary cheeses and other sundry victuals. The date will be Friday, March 12 at 7 pm at the Gourmet Emporium located at 4744 E. Sunrise. This will be a great chance to meet other young alums, and to get blitzed in a respectable way. Strike that last part. This is the first formal young alum event for our club in a while, so it should be a fun way to kick off what will be a more active young alum group. If you are interested, please RSVP with Ross Nova at rnova@U.Arizona.EDU

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

In the other letter in this envelope is a message from the main club about helping to build houses with Habitat for Humanity. Because of our youth, we are better suited to volunteering for this project than the older alums. Let's make it a Young Alumni project. Call Peter Goldman at 622-7733 (office) or 327-0901 (home) to volunteer, and have Young alums fill the 8 vacant spots.

JOIN THE YOUNG ALUMS

We are comprised mostly of young professionals and graduate students at the University of Arizona. If you are interested in joining the young alums or the alumni club of Tucson in general, please e-mail your information to Ross Nova, our young alum Chair, at rnova@u.arizona.edu. If you have anything you'd like the young alums to do, please let Ross know as well.
