This is our signature event of the year!! You will take the proverbial "three-hour-tour" (actually 4hrs) exploring the Palos Verdes peninsula and Hurricane Gulch. The 66 foot sailboat will be captained by our own Club President Craig Douglass '78, and once underway, you can take a turn at the helm! Lunch and a class-of-seventysomething drink called a "Green Machine" will be provided- you are encouraged to bring a six-pack of beverages to share with your crew. This time of year the winds are great and the swells mild, so put on your boat shoes, come aboard, and grab a spot on the deck. We'll sneak up on some windsurfers (the boat is very quiet, aside from our boisterous crew), and do some sailing!! Meet at Eurosail Charters, Berth 75, Port O' Call Village, San Pedro. Be at dock on/before 12:00noon. - we will sail at 12:30 sharp. Limit 35 passengers- so RSVP right away. |
