Help plan a new event!
We are always open to new ideas and people willing to help bring them to fruition. If you would like to see the Dartmouth Club do an event, email us- no idea is too crazy or niche oriented. We have sponsored everything from rollerblading days to parties at someone's home, from movie screenings to poetry readings.
If you are doing something cool and looking for some shameless promotion by the club, put on an event. You'll get your or your company's name in front of fellow Dartmouth alums, as well as exposure to other Ivy League alumni, with whom we "cross-post" our events.

It's clearly not the "ol' boy" club anymore! Chirstine Blanchet '92 and Gloria Bae '95 kicked off their term as our new career advisory co-chairs with a mixer held at the Westwood Brewing Company on June 25th 1997. It was a great way to meet with other recent Dartmouth alums and find out how they got their jobs. |

Over 150 area alumni gathered at the beautiful Biltmore Hotel in downtown for a reception and dinner for College President, James Freedman in February 1997. Guest speakers included Dartmouth Trustee (and Lawyer for Microsoft) William Neukom '64. Alumna singer Jennifer Leigh Warren gave an impromptu performance to cap Freedman's final visit to Los Angeles in his role as President of the College. |

Alums and undergrads braved the El Nino rains to meet in downtown LA for our traditional holiday gathering. We had a chance to hear from our Alumni Council representative, Doug Morton '70 (standing in far right photo), as well as from students who shared their Dartmouth experiences and answered questions.

About 20 alumni and friends took the proverbial "three hour tour"- actually it was a bit over 4 hours. We sailed from the Port O' Call Village, up around the coast of Palos Verdes. Wind surfers and sea lions kept their distance as many of us took our turn at the wheel- guided by Craig Douglass '78, our skipper and club President. A Class-of-SeventySomething drink called a "Green Machine" was served along with sandwiches and snacks- which all managed to stay on board as we plied the relatively smooth waters. Be sure to join us next year!! |

Alums enjoyed a private room for lunch at Back at the Beach restaurant on PCH. Over the course of the afternoon we played volleyball and brainstormed for club events. Thank you Linda Williams '80 and Scott Liebman '85 for helping put on this event. |
