Internet Strategy Course:

Information Technology and Competitive Positioning

 

For the fourth year, Tuck is pleased to offer alumni full access to its flagship

Internet strategy MBA elective, Information Technology and Competitive

Positioning, which starts Monday January 10. This course, taught by Professor

Phil Anderson, examines business models for Internet enterprises. Over 160 Tuck

and Thayer students are enrolled in the course, so you can expect lively

discussions and a lot of activity.

If you register for the course, you are under no obligation to monitor or

participate in every session. You can drop in and out as you please.

 

Auditors receive:

* Entree to the course's Web discussion forum, where you can exchange ideas with the MBAs and other alumni. A special conference lets you meet other alumni who share your interests.

* Access to all the cases, readings (all of which are available online), lecture

materials, and transcripts of the visiting executives' remarks

* Access to all the students' written case analyses

Finally, Professor Anderson is soliciting interested alumni to serve as "shadow

faculty." Shadow faculty members commit to facilitating and moderating the Web

forum for one case or lecture session, and are asked at the end to help the

professor identify the best contributors to the forum for grading purposes. If
