The 2003 Great Club Baci Minireunion weekend orchestrated by Tony BRUSCINO found Classmates GeorgeCOHAN, Dennis MINELLI, and Mike ZISSU enjoying the three-day festivities

Anne OLSEN went on a Dartmouth trip from Amsterdam to Berlin and took this photo of a most appropriate store in Sneek, Holland. Click on image to enlarge.

Doug KEARE encountered Kesang Tashi '70 on the recent Class field trip to Tibet. This photo by brother-in-law Len CLARK shows Doug during an evening of debauchery in Katmandu, Nepal, about to enjoy some potent "rakshi". Others on the trip were the CHANGs, RYANs, and Shady LANE.

Will SOGG encountered Webster RANNEY at Nantucket and suggested that Great Class of 1956 adopt the "56 Union Restaurant", to go with our adopted city, Fifty-Six, Arkansas.

Tony BRUSCINO, Ted BREMBLE and others enjoying an annual '56 Minreunion in Sarasota. See if you can identify our Class Secretary and 45th Reunion Co-Chairman, Tom "Poon" HARPER.

Ben TAYLOR washed ashore on Nantucket for the first time in 27 years and was photographed with Hon. Ed. at the yacht club after a delicious free lunch [he's the one without the cap].

Norm OLSEN passed away in 1996. This portrait, with Norm wearing his favorite Nantucket "reds", was painted by Mary Whyte and hangs in the Olsen Upper School Library at the Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, S.C. Norm and Anne's three children, Jeff, Chris, and Katherine, attended Porter-Gaud before going on to graduate from Dartmouth in 1984, 1986, and 1990. Anne is retaining their summer home on Nantucket, even enduring the frustrations of converting a garage into a cottage. Here she is in a visit to Hon. Ed.'s charming cottage on the island.

This was the group photo during the '56 China field trip organized and conducted so successfully by Roger SCHUMACHER in September 1998. There is one interloper - see if you can find him.

Gerry McNABB appeared with others in this photo including Robert Frost. Can you guess who is whom?

An odd group photographed in July 1998 at Vail, Colorado (before the fire). See if you can pick out Tom HEALY, Tom ROSENWALD, Doug KEARE, Don FORD, Tom HARPER, Dick ZOCK, Emerson HOUCK, or Jack BILLHARDT. They all roomed together in Norwich during their second year at Tuck back in the dark ages.

Crile DOSCHER photographed steering the 140-foot schooner "America" into Nantucket Harbor at the end of May 1998.

Fred ABRAHAM photographed with his students at Silliman University. For further information see the June WWW.

Organized and led by Harry NUTTING, this group of '56ers had a great Caribbean cruise on March of 1998, but no one ever explained what happened to the gambling winnings!

The late Josh HILL photographed by Hon. Ed. in a weak moment many years ago!.

George BROPHY donated a new rugby field to the Dartmouth rugby team, which was completed last year and will be dedicated this September. This photo is of a wall hanging that will hang in the new field house currently under construction next to Brophy Field. It was created as a birthday gift to George from his in-laws, and this information was provided by his brother-in-law, Paul D. Fagan.

John Miles standing in front of a Navy FJ-4B, one of the carrier aircraft he flew in the distant past. He stumbled upon it in a town park in Cordele, GA last month on his way to Florida.

Bert WHITTEMORE (center) and his daughters share with Pete LAUTERBACH (left) and Sam HULL (right) the discovery of an ancient banner said to represent a primevil forest sect known for its devotion to the vigorous life. Its reported aggressive sexual practices led to an early decline but a few members are said to remain, some connected by e-mail! [To be truthful, this scene was the ground breaking for a new State of New Hampshire building which will assist Whittemore with an undeserved retirement!]

Left to right: Will SOGG's wife, Nancy, and her horse, Winner; her daughter, Jenna, and her horse, Hootie; and Will, and his horse, Monte. They were well turned out for the Blessing of the Hunt at the Chagrin Valley Hunt. Will says the Outing Club never prepared him for this!
"Four Brides for Four Brothers": left to right: Clem and Ann (no "e") MALIN, Frank and Sarah TERHUNE, Joyce and Bob EMDE, and Ruth and Bob BECKER, remembering Alpha Theta at the Malin's summer cottage in Goshen, Connecticut
John HIGGS (on right) drifted ashore on Nantucket in July 1997 and met Hon. Ed. RANNEY in his wife's garden
