I told you I'd go fishing if you guys came through on this year's Dartmouth College Fund campaign and here is the proof that I did, because you did. What a great effort was put forth by the Class of '54 in sending a huge vote of confidence and welcome to Jim Yong Kim '82a on his first year as President of Dartmouth! Getting participation from the class at a record breaking level of 87 percent proved you love Dartmouth more than Woolfie's Whites since I could have retired for life if I got that level of participation.

Here's the deal.

	'54 dollar goal ($215,000) - raised $342,936 A CLASS NON-REUNION RECORD
	'54 participation goal (86%) - participation at 88%! A CLASS NON-REUNION RECORD AND A COLLEGE YEARS OUT RECORD EXCEEDING 84% set by the Class of '41
	We took the #1 spot in our class Green Derby group.
	STRS – "Setting The Record Straight" a '54 test program which raised $62,897, over 18 percent of our total, has now been adopted as a regular fundraising program for future classes.

I wish to say a special thanks to my Solicitor team who worked very hard to contact all of the Class and assure these outstanding results. Those on the Solicitor team were:
